Privacy Policy for Note Quite
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Note Quite is a puzzle game for iPhone and iPad made by Abs Hanna ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- You don't need an account, and we never ask for your name, email address or contacts.
- Your progress is saved on your own device.
- The game shows adverts, supplied by Google AdMob. Google may collect information from your device to show and measure them.
- You can buy things in the game through Apple. We never see your payment details.
What the game itself keeps
The game saves your progress on your device: the levels you have finished, your Sparks, your settings, your Daily Puzzle streak, your best Speed Run score, and a note of which purchases have already been delivered. This stays on your device, and in your device's backups if you have those switched on. It is not sent to us.
Adverts
Note Quite is free to play because it shows adverts. They are supplied by Google AdMob, a service run by Google.
To show adverts and measure how they perform, Google's software inside the game may collect:
- device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking;
- your IP address, which also gives a rough idea of where you are, such as your city or region;
- information about your device, such as its model, system version and language;
- how you interact with adverts, such as which were shown and which were tapped;
- diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data from the advertising software.
How Google uses this information is explained in Google's own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your choices about adverts
- Tracking. After your first level, your device asks whether to let Note Quite track you. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you still see adverts, but they are not personalised using what you do in other companies' apps and websites. You can change your answer at any time in your device's Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
- Consent. Where the law in your region requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised adverts are shown. You can change your answer at any time in the game's Settings, under "Ad privacy choices". That button appears wherever these choices apply to you.
- Removing adverts. Buying "Remove Ads" or the "Starter Pack" removes banner adverts and the adverts between levels. The optional adverts that you choose to watch for a reward stay available. You are never made to watch one.
- Reporting an advert. If you see an advert that should not be in the game, open the game's Settings and choose "Report an ad".
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. The game is told that a purchase was made so that it can deliver it. We do not receive your name, card number or any other payment details. Apple's privacy policy is at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Children
Note Quite is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, or under the equivalent age where you live. We ask Google to show only adverts rated as suitable for everyone. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us and we will help.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the services described above, Google for advertising and Apple for purchases, and only in the ways described.
Keeping and deleting information
Your game progress stays on your device until you delete the game, and deleting the game removes it. Information collected by Google for advertising is kept according to Google's own policies. You can manage it with the choices above and with Google's tools at https://myadcenter.google.com
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete personal information held about you, or to object to how it is used. Because we do not hold personal information about you ourselves, most requests are best made through the choices above, or directly to Google or Apple. You are also welcome to contact us, and we will help where we can.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published with a new date at the top.
